"Get It" Problem, Gallery "Thinks" User Already Has Curren Options

My widget, in the Gallery under SinclairAlerts, is currently at version 1.4.1. However, I've had users complain that when they go in to update the widget, it tells them:

"You already have this Widget! Would you like to use it now?"

This was reported to me by users on 1.4.0. I also tested it by reverting clear back to version 1.1.0, and it still gives me this bogus message, rather than updating it.

This problem occured on IE7. When I tried it on Firefox, it worked perfect, and updated my widget.

Any ideas what might cause this?

Hi Ron,

I'm sorry to hear that people are having difficulty getting these updates.

I will try and duplicate the problem and see what I can figure out about how the Gallery is handling the update checks.
