Version 1.1.4 is up. The text tool is now working on the Macintosh. As you say, the text quality is not brilliant, particularly when there is no background. The crop tool is working for me. Looks like you might be finished with this one!

I stopped submitting to the gallery a long time ago. I believe the original reason was due to my disgust at the state of the gallery. My continued reason is probably just implicit lack of interest in publishing them beyond the forums and my website. If the community gallery project had actually managed to finish, I would probably have posted my new Widgets there. Considering the length of my list of "Ready to be published" Widgets, I should probably move them to another section or actually publishing them. Also given all this, I should probably change my avatar, given that everyone knows now what "The Box" is, and the fact that it won't ever be finished (which would result in me changing to my "open box" avatar). Mainly I've just moved on to other things, it seems, like the BB-Code parser, Eleven (a portable music app in Java), and so on. I'm also finishing up college and will hopefully have secured a job offer by the end of the school year, so (as always) life is busy.
