Hi all,
In a recent post, Arlo mentioned that his and my futures are a little vague right now. Well, mine has gotten much more vivid recently, as I've tendered my resignation to Yahoo! My last day will be the 15th. So while I'll still be registered here, I won't be part of "The Management" for too much longer.
I want to thank you all for sticking with us for as long as you have. It was good fun while it lasted, and I think we did a lot of great stuff with the engine over the past couple of years. I'd have liked to see a few other things happen with the engine while I was here, but I guess we can't get everything we want :-)
Anyway, just dropping you this note so that you're aware of my imminent change in status.

Sad to hear. I hope you find a new job which is just as enjoyable to work at as working on Konfabulator was (though that'd be pretty hard to top in my opinion). I hope you still stick around the community though ... I think there is quite a few of us who'd are keeping this alive. The fun hasn't stopped, even if our Widgets don't leave the forums. By the way, if you don't mind me asking, does one of you developers still own the konfabulator.com domain name? (or is that Yahoo!'s now?) It might be nice to take that back.
A result of starting my server over, links from my posts may not work (especially those in the "temp" subdomain). If there is a link to something of which anyone would like to have a copy, personal message me with what you're looking for along with a way to provide this to you, and I'll see if I can find a copy. You've definitely done a great job porting konfabulator to Windows and working on its recent versions. That's too bad you all didn't get a chance to realize all your visions regarding the platform.
Anyway, thanks for helping the community and good luck in your future career.

It must be hard leaving something you have put so much work into for these last years. I wish you all the best Ed, good luck with whatever your next step may be (and I hope to still see you active around here!)

Ed,
It has been a true pleasure to work with you.... even if it was from afar.
I too am leaving, in a month. Please remember to ping occasionally... make sure I havn't fallen off my mountaintop in Santa Fe.
This has been a fun Widget ride, thanks for taking me along...

Official developers have abandoned the forum (and all of Konfabulator really) so badly, that they still haven't removed the Management tag from Ed...

For those who lack the time and/or inclination to buzz-track (imma guess that would be all 7 of you remaining forum regulars), Tweetsville should be up at the app store shortly, after which Ed will finish handing the app over to Tapulous so he can head back to . *raises another glass to Ed*
