Hey there. Very shortly, we will be rolling out an entirely new version of widgets.yahoo.com. There are more details on all that coming soon, and we hope you'll like it. But, there's one thing in particular my product manager thought it would be prudent to give you guys a heads-up on: the fact that currently registered authors submitting new or updated Widgets from this point on will need to merge their legacy accounts with Yahoo! IDs. The account migration is not compulsory for authors who are not going to be submitting Widgets. It's still a good idea, though, because it'll improve your overall experience with the Widget Gallery in the future. Here's what to expect if you decide to merge your account. Accessing the Widget submission page will prompt you for your Yahoo! login; if you don't have an account with Yahoo!, you can create it at that step. Afterward, you'll have two options. - If you've never submitted a Widget before and you don't have a legacy account to merge, the top option will allow you to activate your Yahoo! ID with the Widget Gallery for the first time.
- The bottom option will take you to a page where you enter your legacy Widget Gallery account username and password. After a quick confirmation, you'll use your Yahoo! ID from now on.
We're tried to make the migration as quick and painless as possible. Feel free to leave your thoughts in this forum topic.
Oh, hello. Greetings, one and everyone. Welcome to me.... Homestar!... Runner!... Homestar Runner.

Nice UI, but it is not working well. many bugs, I can still get the old Ui, if I go to the sites with the widgetID , but only sometimes, sometimes I get the new interface, if I get the old one I see different comments for that widget, if I add a comment, next time I get to the new UI, it is not there, like you manage two sites
my widgets has rating, but in some screens it claim I have no rating,
mane more, good job , but you have more work to do, do you want / have a way to submit bugs?

If you see any issues with the website, the best way to get them officially tracked and resolved is to click on the "Suggestions" link in the footer. Customer Care will review each submission and open tickets when necessary, which will be tracked internally until they're fixed.

Actually, the best place to submit real bugs is via the "Contact Us" tab in the "Help" section. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/widgets/general.html

The forum is independent from Yahoo accounts, there is no way to merge it.

Me too, I just cannot merge my author account with my Yahoo Account, in consequence whenever I try to update a widget it either says (You need a Yahoo Account to submit widgets Now) or (You have no widgets in the gallery) I have had numerous emails with widgets-help@cc.yahoo-inc.com but they just seem to think it should all work fine. I had a similar issue for more than two months now. Despite several emails to their support and a brief discussion with one of their dev, it's still not fixed. Hope the gallery will be sorted out some day...

QUOTE We're tried to make the migration as quick and painless as possible. Feel free to leave your thoughts in this forum topic. Shouldnt that be "We've"? This seemed to work well for me, i havent had a problem with it, except it displays my username as Willy which is fine, execpt when you click my name on one of my widgets, it shows "Cielo Fm Salta" by Willy Wilches, i've emailed yahoo! about this problem a few months ago and it still shows up, its not a search of willy but at the top it says "3 Widgets by willy"...
