Did you try closing it out and re-running it? Also, for Mohit, It isn't too hard, but add an Icon for the widget, so that on first load it will display it in the "Are you sure you.." window.
A result of starting my server over, links from my posts may not work (especially those in the "temp" subdomain). If there is a link to something of which anyone would like to have a copy, personal message me with what you're looking for along with a way to provide this to you, and I'll see if I can find a copy. QUOTE(monolistic @ Oct 1 2006, 01:37 PM) Did you end up getting the permissions of sources you used (Weather Channel, Accuweather and Weather Underground)? Is it just me or is this just a Yahoo! Weather clone with bad graphics? You could have at least gone with a new look. i have a agree completley....exact same look as Yahoo! Weather but with [I curse like a child] graphics i was expecting more... im going to be sticking with Yahoo! Weather for now

Sorry to disapoint you guys but no the Atmosphere idget is no where near a good or bad clone of the Yahoo!Weather widget. It is indeed quite differen (especially the extended forecast mode). Again, I'm sorry I ruined ur day. I will be adding sme other features too which hopefullly will make it more ovious that it is not the same.

About te graphics, though, Iknow that weather is weather, but maybe you could do somthing really different with them (see my icon above) and see My post in the Graphic Design catagory. (I think that you should at least try.)

In order use the rss for weather.com, you need to apply for an account, which gives you permission, I went through this process. But I don't know about the others.

You may want a new name, as Atmosphere has been used.

No, Dashboard widget doesn't have pluses, or minuses in the lower right. And Atmosphere doesn't have x's in the upper left. Plus Atmosphere has only one window.
In short, Give him a break!

At least its not like all the bloody webcams and RSS that are perfectly identical except one graphic. I liked Atmosphere 1 and look forward to see how this one polishes up. Good work. (and until dashboard grows up and gets on the desktop where it belongs, those 'widgets' are useless anyway.)

I was actually originally searching around to see if there was a new style that I could suggest to him and I stumpled across that. Sorry, I'm just not a fan of un-originality in the widget, like the web cams and rss feeders. Btw the Dashboard one might not have the lower buttons but the Yahoo! one does. The Dashboard one doesn't have multiple windows that example is just showing it in all its states.

CSM if u would like to help in the widget coding, u r welcome to. Actually I'll be honest, I need the help. And about the look it will change a bit as I have decided to move the current temprature to the left and the highest and lowest on to he right side. A local time for the current location will takover the position of the highest and lowest tempratures currently. Enjoy
